When naval officers returned to check for an oil spill from a sinking boat, they spotted 4 cats huddled on a crane structure.
Wide-eyed and panicked, the felines huddled together. When the help they desperately needed arrived, it came in the form of a 23-year-old sailor and his team of Thai Navy officials.

Thatsaphon Saii, 23, immediately took off his shirt, put on a life jacket and swam 50 feet in an effort to save the cats.

All four cats were successfully rescued and secured on the Navy boat.
