Nature photographer and guide Tero Pylkkanen was in a hide in Kuhmo, Finland, when two sizable brown bears engaged in a heated brawl directly in front of him. Pylkkanen successfully recorded a 3-minute video of what he describes as the “most remarkable bear fight.”
According to Pylkkanen, the initial bear appeared approximately an hour after he settled into the hide. Then, an hour later, the second bear entered the vicinity, and the two bears began sizing each other up for a confrontation. Two hours later, and a total of four hours into Pylkkanen’s stay, the fierce skirmish erupted.
