A photographer has documented Americans residing in vehicles while travelling. Referred to as “workampers,” a significant portion of these individuals are pursuing a personalized interpretation of the American Dream.
Photographer Timothy Eastman embarked on a journey across the U.S., capturing images and conducting interviews with individuals who make their homes in RVs and vans. His collection of work, titled “All The Past We Leave Behind,” has recently been published.
Workampers are individuals who typically dwell in RVs or vans, transitioning between temporary and seasonal employment. Frequently, they are individuals who previously led more conventional lives but now find themselves struggling to make ends meet.

Additional examples of Eastman’s creations can be discovered on his Instagram and personal website.
