The term ‘big cat’ has just undergone an extreme overhaul, thanks to the appearance of this gargantuan feline.

The furry giant you see above is called Apollo, and it’s a lion-tiger crossbreed that’s called the tallest cat in the world.
The liger is the hybrid product of the cross between a lion and a tigress. Its appearance is that of a giant lion with diffuse tiger stripes, its fur is between orange and yellow.
Apollo weighs a massive 319 kgs (703 lbs), and it can go up to 40 miles an hour in a couple of steps.
Apollo is frequently compared to the sabre-tooth tiger, which went extinct 10,000 years ago.
